However, in the final episode, we see a heart-wrenching scene where Yoo Si-jin leaves Kang Mo-yeon to serve his country. The scene ends with Kang Mo-yeon looking at a plane and crying inconsolably, filling the screen with tears.

Unfortunately, “Descendants of the Sun” is not serviced on Netflix. There is a site called Coupang, a site like Amazon in Korea. It is exclusively streaming on an OTT service called ‘Coupang Play’. Like Amazon Prime, you must be a Coupang Wow member to access Coupang Play. Moreover, it cannot be seen on a web browser and can only be accessed from smartphones and tablets.

3. Scarlet Heart: Ryeo

Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is a historical fantasy drama based on the Chinese novel, Bu Bu Jing Xin, that tells the story of a woman from the present time who is transported back in time to the Goryeo dynasty. Lee Joon-gi plays the role of the charming and ruthless fourth prince, Wang So, who falls in love with the heroine, Hae Soo. Their love story faces several obstacles as they try to survive in the chaotic Goryeo dynasty. The finale of the drama ends with Hae Soo traveling back to the present time, leaving Wang So heartbroken and alone.

It seems that the drama is only available on Netflix in Korea. I don’t know if it’s possible to switch countries and watch it on Netflix.

4. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay follows the story of Moon Gang-tae, a caretaker at a psychiatric ward and his romance with Go Moon-young, an eccentric writer. The series tackles heavy themes such as mental health, trauma, and healing. The finale of this drama deals a heavy emotional blow. We see Moon Gang-tae and his autistic brother, Sang-tae, finally coming to terms with their traumatic past. Sang-tae gets a chance to pursue his dream of becoming an artist, but Gang-tae has to leave him behind to take care of his love interest, Go Moon-young, who suddenly falls ill and is hospitalized.

5. Uncontrollably Fond

Uncontrollably Fond is a romantic melodrama that tells the story of two former lovers, Sin Joon-young, a famous actor, and No Eul, a documentary producer, who reunite after several years. They both have a tragic past that leads to a heartbreaking ending. Sin Joon-young discovers that he is terminally ill and prepares himself for death. No Eul tries to make precious memories with him in the limited time they have left, leaving the viewers with tears streaming down their faces.
